See this method doesn’t work in my case I tried but one of my friends got out of this error from this step. 

  • A weak or unstable internet connection can cause error 279. Run an internet speed test to see if you’re getting the recommended speeds (4-8 Mbps) for Roblox.
  • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if one provides a better connection.

3. Restart Devices

Jokingly This method is universal for any error but in my case it fails you can try this out.  

A simple restart of your phone and your Wi-Fi router can often resolve temporary glitches that might be causing the error.

4. Adjust Firewall or Antivirus Settings

I have a ton of these on my mobile phone. This was the actual reason in my case. I disables them and it resolves the issue. 

  • In some cases, firewalls or antivirus software might be blocking the connection to Roblox servers. Try temporarily disabling them to see if it resolves the issue. Remember to re-enable them after troubleshooting.

5. Clear Roblox App Cache and Data

Sometimes, clearing cache and data also helps if the above methods won’t work try this one. 

  • Built-up cache and data can sometimes cause app malfunctions. Clearing the Roblox app cache and data might help. Be aware that this will log you out of Roblox, so have your login information handy.

6. Reinstall Roblox App

This step acts like a super medicine if any of the above won’t work go for it. 

  • If none of the above steps work, try reinstalling the Roblox app. This will ensure you have the latest version and eliminate any corrupted files that might be causing the issue.
